The Angel Tree has been set up in Lackey Hall. Make plans now to adopt a child or children this Christmas. The Angel Tree works by connecting parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts. Christ and Grace received 40 children in the Tri-City area this year. There are two categories of participation: 1) A donation of $25 (or an actual $25 Walmart gift card) used to buy clothing for one child. 2) A toy purchased (approx. $25) and wrapped. The gift will need to be at Christ and Grace by Sunday, Dec. 17. Share Christ’s love this Christmas by helping meet the needs of the families of prisoners. If you prefer to donate money, there is a box beside the tree to deposit your check. You will be supporting a very special and important ministry. Contact Sonyia Elder with questions at Thank you!

If you did not receive a pledge card or have misplaced yours, please contact the church office at your earliest convenience. The EMC Committee is asking for your help in Growing Our Family, so please return your pledge card to help complete the 2018 church budget. Remember these words from the book of Galatians 6:9-10, New Revised Standard Version. Let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. Gods Peace be with you.
